Bintan, Indonesia
Although it takes less than an hour to get to Bintan
from Singapore, it feels a world away. No cars,
high rises or even the internet (YIKES!), just miles of
sandy, white beaches with lots of palm trees.
I did the weekend in style at the Nirwana Gardens hotel
right on the beach (and yes, the water is a warm as it
looks!).
