Arlington West
On this Memorial Day 2006, it just didn't feel right to
do something fun like go to a BBQ or enjoy the day off
without commemorating the lunacy of the war our country
is engaged in Iraq. I got up a dawn to head down
to the Santa Monica beach where
Veterans For Peace
hold their annual "Arlington West" to display the loss
of each soldier in Iraq. It was a truly stunning
sight that had a profound impact on me.
