The Red Carpet
The most surprising thing about Hollywood and the LA
entertainment scene in general is how contrived the
whole industry is. It's nowhere near as glamorous
as you might expect. The Producers' Guild Awards
in January '06 was my first red carpet experience and
while it was a lot of fun, it all felt a bit too
artificial to make much of an impression on me.
