May 19, 2004: OK, now I know this looks bad on the outside.
But you have to imagine that about 100 meters away are throngs
of cheesy Chinese hawkers that cheapen the Forbidden City far
more than this Starbucks. At least Starbucks made an
effort to blend in to the environment where as the nearby
hawkers are far more offensive.
