World AIDS day 2005
I happen to be in Kinshasa on World AIDS day which was especially poignant since the DRC has one of the highest infection rates among children anywhere in the world.  Unicef held an event at a children's AIDS hospice where I went in Ben's place to represent PSI.  It was just so sad to see the beautiful children all with a death sentence.

VIP tent

Unicef's day

Gorgeous kids

Acting it all out

A long day for kids

Too cute to die

What a tragedy

Great clothes

A plea for action

Government minister

Telling stories

Time to dance

And dance

Unbelievable moves

Dance dance dance

Just keep moving

""Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."

"I want to thank the astronauts who are with us, the courageous spacial entrepreneurs who set such a wonderful example for the young of our country."

"Had we to do it over again, we would look at the consequences of catastrophic success, being so successful so fast that an enemy that should have surrendered or been done in escaped and lived to fight another day."
