March 12, 2004: It is reassuring to know
that Americans are at least not the only culture that excels
at denigrating its ethnic and cultural minorities. At a
Chinese amusement park designed to celebrate China's ethnic
minorities, this was the view outside of the mosque in the
Uighur section of the park. Sigh.
