December 11, 2003: The massive ship lock adjacent to the dam.
This lock can apparently move 8 container ships at once
through the locks so they can pass from one side of the dam to
the other. Behind the locks, new cities bubble up along
the ridge where some of the 2 million were relocated to new,
modern apartment buildings.
