May 10, 2004: I couldn't help but think what these people must
feel like to see their community change so profoundly within
their lifetimes. It's wild to think that this
elderly pair grew up in pre-Communist China, endured the ups
and downs of Maoism and now sit there amid capitalism gone
bezerk.
